How I Built a Strong Online Presence

Jeff Shirk

Introduction

I started my first e-commerce business when I was 16 years old. I had no idea how to start an online store, much less succeed in the e-commerce industry. But over the years, I’ve learned a few valuable lessons that will help anyone build their own successful online presence.

How I built a strong online presence in the e-commerce industry

You’ve probably heard the phrase “having a strong online presence” before. But what does it mean?

A strong online presence is the most important thing for any business, especially in e-commerce. Your website and social media accounts are your storefronts, and you want to make sure they’re as inviting as possible so that customers feel comfortable buying from you. You also need to be promoting your products through these channels, because if people don’t know about them then they can’t buy them!

Here’s how I built my own strong online presence:

I started my own business when I was 16 years old.

I started my own business when I was 16 years old. I started with a small online store, selling handmade jewelry and accessories. It wasn’t much at first, but it was enough for me to pay for my expenses and save some money each month.

I was able to sell my products through my website, social media and local craft fairs. The experience taught me how important it is for your brand image to be consistent across all platforms – whether you’re selling through your website or at an event where people might have never heard of you before!

The first step was getting a domain name and website to sell products on.

The first step was getting a domain name and website to sell products on. A domain name is the address of your website, like www.mywebsite.com or www.somesite1234567890123456789.com (which is not an actual website). You can get a domain name from a domain registrar like GoDaddy or NameCheap, or you can opt for one that offers hosting services in addition to registering domains if you want all-in-one service like BlueHost

Getting customers is key to building a strong online presence.

Getting customers is key to building a strong online presence. In order for you to get customers, you need to have a website that sells your products and services. You also need a social media presence that allows people who find your brand on the internet to follow it and interact with it in some way.

Having an active blog where people can read articles related to what your business does will also help build up the strength of your brand through word-of-mouth marketing, which means that if someone likes something they see on one of their friends’ Facebook feed or Instagram stories (or Twitter), they’ll go check out the source material themselves because they’re interested in learning more about what it is they saw. This leads into another important point: having high quality content on all platforms is key when trying to build up any kind of audience base! It doesn’t matter how many followers or subscribers someone has if all those followers are being served up low quality content every time some new piece comes out; eventually those people will stop checking back regularly because there isn’t anything worth seeing anymore.”

Selling products through social media is another great way to gain exposure.

Social media is a great way to get your products out there, and it’s also a great way to connect with potential customers. Social media can be used as a powerful tool for promoting your products and getting more customers.

Social media can also be used to build relationships with customers, which will not only help you sell more products but also make them feel like they’re part of something special–something that’s bigger than just the product itself.

Buying ads on platforms like Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest will give you more visibility.

You can also buy ads on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest. These are all great platforms to get your content in front of more people.

First up: Facebook ads. As the largest social media platform in the world, it’s likely that you already have a presence on Facebook–but if not, now is the time to start! One advantage of buying ads on this platform is that it allows you to target specific audiences based on their interests or demographics (i.e., age group). You can also target by location and device type (desktop vs mobile).

Next up: Instagram Ads! This platform offers similar targeting options as Facebook but with some added flexibility around who sees your ad based on location within their app rather than just geography alone like what we see above with Twitter Ads & LinkedIn Lead Generation Cards where we only had access through geo-targeting options like “Country” & “State/Province” respectively; however both still offer ways for brands looking for more granular control over their marketing efforts such as targeting specific users within certain cities/towns etc..

You can start an online store from scratch even if you’re just starting out or have little money to invest.

Starting an online store is one of the easiest ways to start a business. You can do it from your home, with little money and even less experience.

If you want to start a business but don’t know where to begin, this article will help you get started on creating your own online store. There are many different ways that people have been successful in building their own brand and marketing themselves as experts in their field. The key is finding what works best for YOU!

Conclusion

I hope that this article has given you some ideas on how to build a strong online presence. The most important thing is to keep trying new things until something works for you, and don’t be afraid of failure! If your first attempt at starting an online business doesn’t work out–or even if it does–keep moving forward until something clicks. You might be surprised at how much success comes from starting small with what little money or time you have available.”
